The NYC Economic Development Corp is waiting for a new tenant to occupy the Battery Maritime Building in Lower Manhattan (next to the Staten Island ferry terminal).
We heard a rumor that the site was going to be used as a 140,000 square foot gourmet market, modeled on the Pike Place Market in Seattle.
